Dalhousie, Switzerland of India !

Yeah! you read it right "Switzerland".

Traveling is always a fun, adventure, experience, experiment and freshness. People travel here and there but visiting a nice place becomes a beautiful memory. Dalhousie is a wonderland. Pathankot is the nearest Railway Station. You have to take a taxi for two hour drive to reach Dalhousie. This wonderland takes you on a roller coaster ride of river, mountains and greenland. Here river refers to the Ravi river. People can take a boat ride in Chamera lake (a part of Ravi). It is a few kms away from the main Dalhousie. You can reach here by driving for 20 minutes or book a cab, which is easily available. You will have the best boat ride views of a never ending river here. After blissing yourself with the nature’s water go and visit Khajjiar, which is actually a mini Switzerland. Peopla can enjoy horse riding, paragliding and beautiful scenes of nature. you turn around and you will get the different and beautiful scenes of nature from every angle.

Let’s go to Dainkund Peak. You will get to experience mountains and clouds here. you will feel like you’re standing on a cliff in the middle of clouds there. A temple is situated on the top of this mountain. Religiously one can have a site of Kailash Parvat from here. Having a tea and Maggie here is the best experience.

If you want to indulge yourself more in the beauty of nature go and visit Ennan Mata Waterfall. This is situated at a few kms outside Dalhousie. This fall is dedicated to lord Shiva. Visit this temple and spend few minutes here. sitting on a stone in middle of a flowing dam is not less then a fairy tale.

Afterwards visit Basholi Dam situated on the border of Punjab and Jammu. This gives you lifetime of experience. Standing on this dam, you can only see blue water everywhere. You can spend an hour here and enjoy soothing breeze.

Now you can go back to your stay and pack a suitcase of lifetime memories.
